I got some lovely printed images from a very dear friend to play with. As they are vintage style I had a blast distressing the edges with a scissor and ink. It's quite fun to try the vintage style for a change.
What could be more appropriate on the night for the Nobel Prize than a star, hehe. You can tell I'm a Science teacher, huh?
I used a Papermania star background stamped with Paris Dusk Memento ink. The Joanna Sheen sentiment is heat embossed with a fime platinum powder. Some Distress Stickles were added to the stars and the sentiment were layered with a stack of scrap strips, perfect when you're out of 3 D tape.
Hope you're having a great weekend, we've had the first snow and a few degrees minus. I made this card earlier and haven't showed it yet, the image really gives that fabby feel of a frosty day at the country side, doesn't it? Oh, my feet will be freezing tomorrow morning when I'll wait at the bus to work, I'll better dig out the wool socks!
Hope you're having a great weekend, I've been playing around with the an Santa image and a warning might be in place; it's a photo heavy post. First out is a Santa in red, black and white. The skin colour is made with the same red pen I used for Santa's clothes, only diluted in water.
