The One that got Away

Morning all, hope you're having a wonderful weekend. Today I got a very dramatic image full of action from Inkylicious, the sentiment is from them too. The image is coloured with Derwent inktense and watercolour pens. I used the same pens for the border. The image is stacked with scraps to get some dimension, I've finally found a purpose for all those small scraps I've been hoarding. The border is from DQWV.

Challenges to enter:
Less Is More: A Sketch to follow (I also cased Chrissie's fab card)
CASalogy: Contrast

You Are My Heart

Here's my favourite style of card, CAS with textures. Please, don't ask me about the wonky part, a small mishap whilst photographing, *sigh*. The sentiment says You're my heart in Swedish.

I would like to enter the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday: Warm It Up (warm colours)
Simply Create Too: Valentine's Day or Use Hearts
Sweet Stampin' Challenge: Your Favourite Style

I used:
- Free heart stamp from Craft Stamper, Brilliance red ink, fine embossing powder
- Kaiser Craft half pearls
- Inkido sentiment, Versa Fine black ink, Spellbinder label die

I'll be back later for blog visits; the house hold chores are piling up so next on line is defrosting the freezer, it's more like an ice cave at the moment, a polar bear would probably love it!

Stay safe my friends.

Warm hugs

December Journal Page

Last year's Journal Pages are all done,; here's the last of them. I had a blast with Derwent pastel pens and Liquitex light paste medium and a mask. Something new to play around with. This is my first make with them, I got a feeling that I'll use the much  more, they are very easy to work with and there wasn't any steep learning curve.

The All Craft Challenge at Craft My Life don't want to see any cards, so this might fit in.

I also used:
The lovely lady stamp followed with a craft mag, she got a new hat with cut outs from an unnamed stamp set, Reprint Heart stamp, Clarity stamp corner, Exchangeable star, TH harlequin stamp,
That Special Touch mask
Distress inks, Memento inks, Liquid pearls, Perfect pearls, ribbon paper scraps
Pro Markers

Have a wonderful weekend, make it special!

Less Is More wants to see Winter Blues, my favourite colour is blue. My relatives finds it hilarious when I always bring home blue items, well, I need to make a statement here; I do love purple too!

Charisma Cardz wants to see Birthday cards as they're celebrating the big five! Congratulations ladies! Grattis på födelsedagen means Happy Birthday in Swedish.

Crafty Calendar and Fab'n Funky are also in the mood for Celebrations!

Simon Says Stamp have some lovely pictures for inspiration, can you guess which one I did choose?
