Going minimalistic

From vintage in my last post to a very minimalistic style. I'm always amazed by minimalistic home decors, so far away from the half cluttered style in my flat, there's an ocean of sneakers to meet you in the hallway.

Challenges:
Addicted to stamps: It's your choice

Materials Used:
Penny Black image and Vilda Stamps sentiment stamped with Watering Can Archival ink.
Creative Expressions embossing folder, Panduro cardstock.
Stickles, eyelet, dark green ribbon from stash.

Thank you so much for visiting, it's much appreciated! Hope you're enjoying the weekend. You know I've been creating faces a few weeks now, this time I'm a bit stuck and out of comfort zone. I'll see if something showable emerges.

Setting sails

Hello sweetest bloggers! I hope you're all well. In real life I'm quite upset, something I rarely am. I won't bore you with details, but it's a trust thing and I'm really in midst of stormy feelings, so why not set sails to calmer waters and sunny beaches.

Your time to shine

Happy Friday! I'm back with the comfortable acrylics and watercolours, so much easier. This is in remembrance of my Granny. She didn't come from a wealthy family, went through hardships during WW2, raised 10 children and worked hard all her life. She was loving and caring and had always time to give a little something, a peak at the cheek or a handful of sun warm raspberries or taking a few dance steps to the radio music whilst taking care of the dishes. A most remarkable and respectful woman.

Time for:
Materials used:
DQWV card stock, torn Origami paper triangels, Liquitex gesso and gel medium, Tilda yellow acrylic colour,
Tim Holtz stencil, Derwent charcoal, watercolour, pastel and inktense pens, Liquitex acrylic pens and new black fine drawing pens... I need to check the make of them.
Papermania heart image stamped with Faded Jeans Distress ink.

Thank you so much for visiting, it means the world! I  hope you'll have a wonderful weekend. We're having a 50th Birthday to celebrate, so hopefully I'm in chance to take a few dance steps too :)

Being Naive?

Hello again, I'm back with a more Naive Face. I find acrylics easier than ProMarkers, so this is a first attempt. Some tangles and stamping too :)

Challenges:
Art Friday: Show Your Face
Moving Along with the Times: Birds and/or Feathers

Materials Used:
Promarkers, metallic blue Sakura pen and Promarker paper.
Sarntangle image stamped with Water Can Archival ink.
Liquid Pearls and blue glitter from stash, Itsy Bitsy sequins.

Thank you so much for visiting, it means the world! Hope you'll try some doodling and colour playing today, it's very relaxing and therapeutical. I met someone last week who has so many skills and doesn't make use of them, I ended up feeling a bit frustrated. Some of us muddles on without skills and are quite pleased anyhow.
