Your time to shine

Friday night and your time to shine, yay!!!! Ok, at Friday evenings I like to be non shine, but you can shine! I'm kind lika that! I love to cuddle up in the sofa and watch a film or two. So, ok, this face started with this photo.

I was inspired by Kim Dellow's  collage face, so the colours of a photo were altered.

The ghost like collage!

The painted face, you can still see the collage beneath. Inspired by Giggles!

You can also link up to Art It Friday - Show Your Face. I used scraps, Liquitex gesso, acrylic paint and pens, Studio acrylic paint, Uni pin pens, Glossy Accents for eyes and teeth and Pink Stickles.

Thank you so much for visiting, it's much appreciated!

A salvaged disaster

Ok, you've seen one of these before, I made two as I they were so fun and easy to create. We have an Anything Goes over at Simply Create Too, great, huh?! So join us for some fun!

Challenges:
House of Cards: Metallic

Materials used:
I applied Aqua Markers at one side of a fabulous Itsy Bitsy embossing folder, spritzed a bit water, layered up the paper and ran in it through the Cuttlebug. It was a disaster, colour everywhere. I turned the paper around, the backside was much better. I added some silver Perfect Pearls for some interest.

Impression Obsession sentiment stamped with Aqua Marker and Brushed Corduroy Distress ink (to get the right colour), heat embosssed with clear embossing paper. Itsy Bitsy flower. DQWV and Panduro cardstock.

Thank you so much for visiting, it's much appreciated!

Join the Joyride

Don't you just love Classic Cars, they are precious for so many, we saw a lot of them during Classic Car Week in Rättvik. It was very laid back and very enjoyable. Here in the Northern Hemisphere it's only during the summer you can see them, so they're almost like flowers popping up at springtime or migrating birds, hence the T- Bird :)

Challenges:
CASalogy: Precious (car)
Fab' n ' Funky: No patterned paper
House of Cards: Metallics (metallic spray, pens and, sequins and Stickles)
Paperbabe Stamps: Anything Goes
Addicted to stamps: Anything Goes

Materials used:
Digidoodles image, Exchangeables alphabet stamps, Watering Can Archival ink, Promarkers, White and metallic Sakura pens, Uni pin pen, Wink of Stella, Gunsmoke Stickles, Itsy Bitsy metallic blue sequins, Cosmic Shimmer on scrap of watercolour paper, 3D squares.

Thank you so much for visiting, it's much appreciated!

Wishing you a day filled with sun and laughter

Wishing you a day filled with sun and laughter in Swedish :) I so love August as it fills my table with berries, corn on the cob, crawfish and lovely veggies. It's a blessing! The note card shows the colours of my fave berries, can you guess the light green one?

Challenges:
Less Is More: Berry Colours

Brushos, Liquid Pearls, Ek Success corner punch, Kaiser gems, Vilda stamps sentiment

 Yay!!!

To make the above card you need to mask the stamped images, begin with the images that are on top. Use light colours for the images that need to look like they are further away. Blur the stamping of them with a wet cut'n'dry pen nib or a blender pen. Create shadows with a blender pen by picking wanted colours. Add colour to the top images if needed. Does it make any sense?

Thank you so much for visiting, it's much appreciated!

We just came home from our small trip to Dalarna, that's a magical place in Sweden with wonderful views and people. This is luxury for me; clean air, silence and mother nature in her glory. Ah, well, it was a bit rainy and cold, but we enjoyed it :)
