Messy Winter Storm

Good morning! Hope you're having a lovely weekend. I'm actually taking part of the May Rudolph Day Challenge today. My intention was to take part of it every month but....I'm feeling as students  before exams here, there was the laundry and the dog grooming (even if I don't have a dog) and I don't know what in between, lol! Here I am at last and with lots of Snippets and reusing so I'm also entering Pixie's Snippets Playground.

Lot's of Stickles!
So what did I use?

The dark blue paper is from a shopping bag, the house is from a men's shirt ( the collar thingy), the inky snow is a piece I've used as a mask when inking.

A black pen to draw the windows, Distress inks in different shades, three Penny Black snow flake stamps stamped in different colours. You can see that the tiniest has the darkest colour. The larger ones are stamped onto the tiny one but with lighter colours.

White Liquitex Gesso splattered wildly and star shaped sequins. The sentiment is Joanna Sheen, stamped in Watering Can Archival ink.

Enjoy rest of the weekend and get messy with colours!

Terrible teenagers at Sweet Stampin'

This is my last card at Sweet Stampin', I've had a wonderful time there and it has been an honour to be a part of the most fabulous team. Real life is calling and I've decided to step down. This week we're making cards for teenagers and I believe this image could work for anyone with a spot of dark humour :) Lawn Fawn is kindly offering a prize to a lucky winner.

Challenges:
Crafty Catz: Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday: Food or Drink
Less Is More: Pop or Bang (pop as in making a sudden movement)

Materials used:
Mo Manning digi image coloured with ProMarkers. Paper snippets and hey presto, done! I forgot to take a photo of the sentiment inside "Good things come to those who wait".

Thank you so much for visiting, it's much appreciated! I'll venture in to making cards and journal pages when mojo strikes, so I'm going rogue now, a second teenage. Have a wonderful weekend sweeties!

Time for Graduation

Springtime means time for graduation, here's one with fabulous sparkle and minimal stamping. I used a variety from my snippets collection which is now in recession. Soon I might treat myself to some new patterned papers :)

Challenges:
4 Crafty Chicks: Graduation

The fabulous glitter paper and a string from a gift.

Materials:
Panduro papers, Cuttlebug postage stamp die, Quickutz star dies, Exhchangeables alphabet stamps, watering can Archival ink, 3D squares.

Ok, this one went wishy washy, the mint green faded away when taking the photo. That happens...as I'm entering an 80's challenge, can I say that the 80's has faded away for me.  Or I'm so wishing it, I actually had a pair mint green tartan patterned trousers. And a neon pink top!!! Please erase my entry if I went too rogue here :)

Addicted to stamps and more: Anything Goes
Cute card Thursday: No dp
Moving Along with the times: The 80's
Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes

Materials used:
Hero Arts large background stamp, Distress inks, clear embossing powder, Art-C sentiment stamp and label die, Watering can Archival ink, ribbon from t-shirt, Panduro gems.

Thank you for visiting, enjoy the weekend! We're actually having a wonderful sunshine and warm breezes here.
